I was suffering from Hormonal imbalance, not able to walk for more than 5 mins because of severe heal ache. Doctors were just trying with various treatments. My son Vedant had problems in concentrating during the boards of 10th grade. I knew Ashwini from few months she took a lecture in my gym for teenager's health so I preferred to ask her for diet for my son to improve his concentration. Ashwini gave me diet for him. She told me to give him panchamrut, dry fruits in the morning. Increase intake of vitamins and proteins, use linseed in food and jaggery instead of sugar she also gave some supplementary items for him like avala candy etc. and avoid dry food. After the operation of my Osteochondroma (overgrowth of bone), nearly in January, I had a problem in bending downwards, I was having some pain in waist and at back. We consulted 3 to 5 doctors about my pain but we did not get any solution. My many blood tests were done and also my MRI was done. But the reports were normal. I started my treatment with Ashwini for chronic constipation prior to which I had tried treatments with gastroenterologists, homoeopaths and had done all possible tests including colonoscopy. But none of this could give me satisfactory relief. Ashwini suggested revamp in my diet regime. It initially sounded difficult as this plan needed changes in my regular food habits. Sabja, liquorice, fruit smoothies, sama, daliya, methi sprouts etc. had a rare occurrence in our diet though we were well aware of their nutritional importance. Also, the sequence and timing of eating had to change. Surprisingly, I could easily adapt to the new plan and changes in the diet given. There were regular follow-ups from Ashwini which also comforted me in the initial stage. The initial phase ensured preparation of the body for the new plan and the next phase ensured corrective action. My body is responding really well to the diet plan. Fibre content, protein content, vitamins, essential minerals, oils content are well balanced in the diet. I am an endurance cyclist. I like to take up different cycling challenges. I think that these challenges help me live my life positively. My cycling improves my attitude. 

Cycle Everesting is a different kind of challenge for endurance cyclist. To record your name in the Hall of Fame of Everesting, you have to repetitively climb a hilly road on cycle, till you get the elevation of Everest i.e. 8848 meters. It should be a single ride. Short breaks for food and water are allowed but no sleep. It's a race with yourself and not with time.

I completed Half Everesting on 6th Sep 2020, by gaining a cumulative elevation of 4424+ meters. After that, I started dreaming about Full Everesting. This task was big enough. So I started thinking about considering a proper nutritional diet. Lucky enough that I came in contact with sports nutritionist Ashwini Deshmukh through one of her webinars on the subject. She is a runner herself and also a nutritionist for Sportsmen from Sports Authority of India. She agreed and gave me a proper diet plan. I started following the plan and within a week's time, there was a performance improvement. I can actually feel the difference in me. My performance on the bike was better as compared to the previous. 

I attempted full Everesting on 30 Nov 2020. I could not finish it due to a knee injury. But the diet plan gave me sufficient energy to finish it safely. 

I have continued the plan to date and getting good results from that.

Hello everyone! I would like to mention my experience with the Green Leaf diet. 

I had the problem with slow hair growth on the top part of my head and that part was beginning to appear bald. I consulted a doctor. At an early age, we did not know words like metabolism waste, alkaline diet & acid waste. When we come to professional life, our physical activities become less, but we maintained our food habits as it was. Eating 500 calories takes 5 mins, but to burn them takes more than 2 hours.

My wife had interaction with Mrs Ashwini Deshmukh from mid of 2019, at that time I was only a listener. Currently, I am 43. Yes, food is an important part of a balanced diet, but we need to understand the difference between “want” and “need”. I had some issues with my neck pain and lower back pain. If I sat on the ground, say for more than half an hour, then it is very hard to get up quickly. My weight is in a bracket of 82 to 85kg, height 5’8’’. I started to follow diet instructions from Ashwini mam from March 2020, I believe her tag line is “You don’t have to eat less, you just have to eat right!”

Now after almost a year, I had completely stop milk tea with sugar, bakery products, junk food, oily food, spicy food and prefer vegetarian food. I had followed the complete diet plan suggested by ma’am. Real food is our first medicine. Everyone knows due to Covid19 many of us started working from home, but that befits me for following a diet plan. Of course, along with diet, I have started 45min walking, playing ground cricket weekly twice for a couple of hours and swimming as when it’s open. Overall I must say, “I am on the correct track”. And will follow the same. “Until you get your nutrition right, nothing is going to change"

It is a sad fact that "weight gain" comes at some point in everyone's life. Then the rush started to reduce it with a few days of exercise and diet. The word diet is no longer new. Even if we follow a diet, they say, “We need to have the right direction with speed, otherwise we don't get attention”. The same thing happened to me. Aiming to lose 10 kg weight, I was accompanied by Madam Ashwini. What I thought would take me a year to achieve was achieved in 3 months due to Madam Ashwini's diet plan. “But not only does the diet plan work, but it also requires exercise," said Madam Ashwini. Weight loss will be followed by fatigue and constant tiredness. This is exactly what I did during the lockdown. This time was a treat as the food outside was completely closed. I am Pranjali Desai, age 23. I got to know about Ashwini ma’am from a friend of mine. She had a weight difference in her weight and I felt the need to go to her and take her guidance too.

I have never been to any dietician before as I was scared that I won’t be able to control my hunger or my cravings being a foodie and also had a perception that diet is not required. But when I met Ashwini ma’am, she has continuously guided me almost throughout the year and I am more than satisfied with the results.

She first asked me to take some blood tests and saw some deficiencies in me. She focused first on recovering those deficiencies. Myself, Dr Ashwini Umalkar, consulted Mrs Ashwini Deshmukh for Hypothyroidism. 

Initially, a few symptoms (Weight gain, Lethargy, Drowsiness) were very prominent & my TSH level was extremely high i.e. above 100 whereas, its normal value is just 4.

I have migraine and in the last 1 year, my migraine attacks have increased in intensity as well as in frequency due to which my day to day life was affected a lot. Also, I was very low in energy, was having cramps in my legs and increased palpitations throughout the day. A DIET AND DIETICIAN CAN CHANGE OUR LIFE

 

I am in my early 40s and came in contact with Ashwini Deshmukh Ma’am through my wife as I am the witness to changes that happened to my wife after she has been given a diet for weight loss. My health problems were related to acidity, anxiety, high BP and pain in the left arm and upper chest pain, on a regular basis. After consulting her, I had taken my body assessed and she asked me to go for a few tests. In April, I got my full body checkup done and based on reports I was having a very high level of cholesterol, a high level of Uric Acid, a low level of D3 & B12, and based on a detailed analysis of my reports she recommended diet, however, since I was out stationed so started Diet chart at the end of May, it was very interesting to follow chart. The Diet plan doesn’t have too much variation from what we eat on regular basis at home, so easy for my wife to prepare food as per the plan. Within the first month itself, I started feeling the change & my cholesterol levels are in control & have reduced weight as well as no acidity symptoms now. Basic complaints about my health such as body ache, digestion, and heaviness of my body, now it is quite improved. If we follow all the timetable given by madam, it is long term beneficial for us. It is “weight loss”. It's precisely 6 months back I came to know about Ashwini ma'am through one of my school time friend. I just had undergone angioplasty in the first week of May. All of us were under stress due to this unexpected event at the age of 50. We had a detailed call with Ashwini ma'am and she assured us everything will be normal quickly.

Based on my test reports she started the diet plan for the first month from 1st June. In the beginning it was sounding difficult to manage the schedule due to office timings but slowly we adapted to the diet and started following it religiously. I could reduce my weight by 3 to 4 kg in last 4 months and able to maintain it. I am Kailash Takalkar from Nigdi Pradhikaran, Pune. My father, Madhukar Takalkar 83 years old, is diabetic for more than a decade. He is regularly following allopathy to keep the glucose level under specifications. According to his HbA1c, BSL-fasting & PP, Doctor keeps on altering his dose, sometimes power or sometimes frequency. Many people told us about diet control, in fact we met couple of “dietitians” as well. But their prescriptions were like 50gm lentil, 1 bhakri of diameter xyz etc. Those plans were too impractical to follow and then it’s just a paper in his file. In the darkness, the rays of light are visible; in the same way, Mrs. Ashwini Deshmukh met us and provided a lot of help to get my daughter out of this difficult illness like Anxiety. 

We met many doctors, tried many medicines, but nothing seemed to make a difference. I always wanted my weight below 60 kg but never  achieved it. I was walking daily minimum of 5 km and  following my own diet plans based on heard things like, no wheat chapati, no sugar etc but it didn't help me at all. 

Even after a single session of trekking I used to lose energy, feel very tired, and was experiencing body ache also.
