Osteoporosis occurs when “Bone Mineral Density (BMD)” becomes so low that the skeleton is unable to sustain ordinary strains. It is commonly observed because of low Calcium intake, Estrogen deficiencies in women & Inactive lifestyle (Regular exercises & weight-bearing exercises are recommended).

Type I Osteoporosis is postmenopausal or Estrogen deficient type occurs commonly in women within a few years of menopause.

Type II is age-related Osteoporosis, which occurs at the age around 60 ~ 70.
